You need alsa-firmware as the us-122 needs a firmware loaded. Your
hotplug/udev should then keep track of the loading (doesn't work for
me). Or you have to execute usx2yloader to load it. The lid on the
device will light up if the firmware is loaded and the device will
show up in "aplay -l" or in qjackctl's configuration...
