People could choose their preferred format. Other people could convert the files to other formats. E.g., if a composer prefers to use a paper&pen, other may typeset the notesheets to Rosegarden. I'm sure soon the most effective formats will be found (MIDI, Ardour, loops and samples, etc.) and other formats fade away due lack of interest. BTW, sorry about the "sucks" but that was honest on my part.
