Hi Ryan,

I am looking for the same thing, although I already gave up and vowed to learn to play the drums myself. I guess by knowing how to play drums you can more easily program drum beats yourself.

FWIW, I recently found out that Horgand has a build in drumbeat, programmed for different styles. Unfortunately Horgand is not well documented and maintained as it is a one-man operation.

Let us know if you find anything interesting along your search.

What I mean by "drum beat" is the rhythm sequence itself. i.e. rather
than sequence a drum beat myself, I would sometimes like to just select
an existing one from a library, and then play over the top of it.
