Could someone please explain to me: aus /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base: install snd-intel8x0 modprobe --ignore-install snd-intel8x0 \ $CMDLINE_OPTS && /lib/alsa/modprobe-post-install snd-intel8x0 there is another file .alsa-base in the same directory where this line reads: install snd-intel8x0 modprobe --ignore-install snd-intel8x0 \ && /lib/alsa/modprobe-post-install snd-intel8x0 which is the correct one? should the other file be removed? Any help appreciated. Bernhard Kleine
