OK, so none of us can really guess at percentages, but it seems clear that a significant number of reasonably expert audio users use an external MIDI interface of some kind. It also seems that general configuration problems fall into a couple of specific areas and do not trouble most users, either because it's easy to fix, they don't need the functionality or it Just Works. I am also interested to hear from people who don't use MIDI at all or have a specific reason not to configure it. (other than simply hating the medium. ;) Good.
