having used both (audacity about 3 years more recently than acid),right now, audacity can't really touch acid by some distance. Yes, itpitch / time only transforms. But in my experience, at least in theWindows version of Audacity, it cant' even loop-play small ( < 1second) samples accurately (useful when you're trying cut from alarger block of audio). Audacity also doesn't have any of thearrangement stuff that acid has.check out the thread titled "Acid-Gigasampler-Vegas-Audio Mastering"on this list On 1/25/06, Carotinho <carotinobg@xxxxxxxx> wrote:> Hi!>> Alle 03:23, mercoledì 25 gennaio 2006, Vaughan Famularo ha scritto:> > Hi fellow groovers!!> >> > I am wondering if there is an Acid type of program designed to operate> > in Linux.
