Great, and a useful option would be a commandline switch to have capture 
only or (more often used) playback only operation, if you need it.

P.S. I managed to make Audacity play well with oss2jack, patching the 
Audacity source by grepping -r "/dev/dsp" in the sources and dumbly 
changing "/dev/dsp" with, say, "/dev/dsp20", then calling "oss2jack 
Audacity -n20" (I modified oss2jack source as well, changing "oss-dsp" 
into argv [1], real ugly, I know... ;) )
