[linux-audio-user] wanting anecdotes on dell inspiron 1150

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hey guys,

i've googled a bit and searched the archives and can't find much regarding doing
low-latency work on a dell inspiron 1150 - i'm in the position to buy one cheap
from a coworker, and wondered if anyone had experience with one.

assuming i ignore the builtin sound and go with a USB or PCMCIA device, anyone
know what kind of performance i could expect from it? my main hope is to use
jack, freewheeling, pd; possibly fluidsynth or linuxsampler. freewheeling's my
main concern.

thanks!
