Recently jackd has not been exiting when I close qjackctl. It just sits there holding on to the soundcard so I can't play with anything else. Jack clients don't think it is running. How do I kill the bastard zombie? "kill -9 pid" does not work as user OR root. Programs that force me to reboot in Linux make me angry :p
