If you don't get any sound after you check the settings in
envy24control, try this as root:

# rmmod snd-ice1712
# modprobe snd-ice1712 model=delta44

My delta 44 has a mysterious problem where the EEPROM has incorrect
identification info.  The symptoms are that the driver loads fine, but
no sound no matter what.
