well, i got the cvs version of dssi-vst, and it compiled ok ...

better yet, no more automatic logging out from the Xserver (?) - except
for using Guitar Rig, but that works fine with jack_fst, so no dramas there.

don't know what the deal is with the compile errors from non-cvs version
....
