What is happening in my setup is that with each invocation of dssi-vst the
dssi-vst-scanner adds one more of those 4-byte entries to its cache
(~/.dssi-vst). When all the plugins are listed in the cache the output
changes and I get the "all cache files are up to date" message. However, even
if I only have one plugin in my VST path, I cannot get dssi-vst to run it.

My output is not the same actually. This is because dssi-vst fails to invoke
the debugger. Using the WINEDEBUG= thing was a workaround for this, but it
gives me a lot of repetitive guff without the memory dump to make it all
worthwhile.

Let's hang in there, brother!
