In Nautilus, I eventually had to binary-edit the libnautilus.so for having ".htm" files recognized as html files instead of gmc files. Nothing else worked. There are many similar traps in the webbrowsers in which the strangers are trusted more than the user who owns the computer. Makes the browsers very insecure.
