Thanks. Now I have a problem with it only opening 1 channel of a stereo file. Opening a stereo file in snd-7.14 seems to work. I would use snd-7.14 but none of the xm xg stuff seems to work for me. It just makes snd segfault if I compile it with xm or xg support I have gentoo linux on an amd64 in 64bit mode. Thanks, Jeremiah
