Ok, but I don't want it.

What I want to achieve is :

[soundcard out] --> [fx processing] -> [soundcard in] -> [soundfile]

But the problem is there is a loop like this :

        ___________________________________ 
       /                                   \
      V                                     |
[soundcard out] --> [fx processing] -> [soundcard in] -> [soundfile]

I don't get it. If there is output, there is feedback, isn't there ?

Yes, that's what I'd like to do and that's the purpose of my message. But I
don't know how. I think something is misconfigured in my audio system.
