hi, ive used tracktion in the past, its a straightforward DAW that focused on having an uncluttered GUI some of the innovations that big sequencers like cubase are adopting now (for example enter midi notes from the arrangement screen)... its a bit tedious switching between screens (mixer, arrangement, softsynths) when you only have one monitor so tracktion has everything in one place... in addition it doesnt have a traditional mixer: "The design philosophy behind the interface is to make it as simple as possible avoiding clutter or waste, so having a mixer that duplicates functionality that's already available somewhere else on the screen doesn't fit very well with this"... the funny thing it is now distributed by a well known mixer company... ivan. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
