Tried with my trusty working install of libfst (jack_fst) on Mandrake 
and could not get it to fly. WOuld not install under Wine so I installed 
on a Windows machine and filched the .dll...still didn't fly. Sorry. :(

Some do...some don't. Vst is still hit n miss unfortunatly.
