If you are into improvisation, you might try FreeWheeling. Though it's more of
a performance environment than a composition environment, it gives you
immediate audio feedback and the ability to easily play and layer loops
without needing mouse & visuals. As you improvise, you can stream your mix out
with time markers for later editing, and you can (auto) save the individual
loops you create too.

Like Marv, I do much of my music work with my hands off the mouse and eyes off
the monitor, so this thread is interesting for me.
