You have the card, you can play with it. Try to look at snd-emu10k1 driver. Try to use same way as Audigy 2 Value card uses (there are only few places where code is diffrent from Audigy 2 ZS). Are there any error messages in dmesg (something AC97 releated) ?? I think Audigy 2 ZS Notebook doesn't have AC97 (try dissable AC97 mixer creation).
