Here's some ideas to start with

-routing possibilities available, both within ardour and between apps 
using Jack

-how Ardour can automatically automatically adjust all the tracks for 
delays caused by plugins or other programs processing the audio

-the extensive automation (including plugin automation) within ardour

-jack transport and the concept of freewheeling

-controlling external hardware from ardour with MMC

-Some tools most commonly used with studio recording to complement 
Ardour: Jamin, JackRack, JAAA, Meterbridge, LADSPA, Freqtweak, JackMix, etc.

-The biggest influence you can have though is to provide some samples of 
projects recorded, mixed, and mastered on Linux using OSS.
