I'm pretty sure that this doesn't actually work. You can send an empty
envelope through the mail to yourself, and just keep it around until
you need it. Then, to "prove" you wrote something, just stick it in
the envelope and seal it. Then it looks like you sent the material way
back whenever the envelope was postmarked.
