Wow, that looks nice.
I've been reasonably happy with my iRiver HP-120, but it doesn't do flac
and doesn't have the open-source community behind it.  It does record
mp3, wav, and it does play back ogg.  Digital I/O is a nice touch though
I've never used it. The UI sucks, though.
