I was just looking at prices of the XP vs. 64 and for a 3000+ the cost difference is only $15 now. Of course, that doesn't take into account the cost of the MB but I wouldn't expect that to be a whole lot extra either. Even running in 32 bit mode the 64 is probably worth the extra few $ since you do get some goodies with it even in 32 bit mode.
