I admit, that I approach it very naively by just looking at the meaning of both single words, "pro" and "audio", but if "pro audio" indeed is meant to describe something different from "sound design" (which also is a word combination, that could mean anything, if one is honest) then I guess I will just (have to) accept that nomenclature. Which isn't really a big problem for me, to make that clear.
