LoL, it isn't any different no matter where we go or
what we compare it to.

The paragraph exemplifies the problem perfectly. By
putting color before content the point is
incomprehensible. My guideline for writing is, if I
use six words, the reader remembers six words, if
eight words they remember six, if 10 they remember
nothing.

I really like discussing music and learning from other
people and I want to indulge in this conversation more
but time is of the essence. I'm packing up the studio
and moving it into the basement of a bar to produce a
live old school bebop jazz double album tonight.

The players are world class. Several of they guys have
been playing jazz for 50 plus years. They have
traveled to Minneapolis from different parts of the
U.S. The youngest player is the alto sax. He's Snoop
Doggy Dog's music director and live keyboard player.
It's an interesting gig.

I've done a fair amount of commercial work with Linux
audio applications but I'm a little nervous. I can't
stop the band and restart songs to correct any
technical problems because this is live with an
audience. Either I get it right or there's a problem.
Of course I live for these moments.

Anyway, I'm running 16 mic lines into Ardour and have
a three camera video shoot running. Part of my
negotiation is the right to appropriately license some
of the material so it can be freely distributed. I'm
hoping to have a couple videos with great audio that
can be used as demonstrations of Linux audio in
action.

If you never hear from me again, assume I screwed up
and am swimming with the fishes. :~)
