Greetings: I believe the original post is essentially asking for a specific kind of MIDI filter. Personally I would like to see a programmable MIDI patch bay with such filtering capabilities as channel filtering, velocity modification, and controller mapping. That would be extremely useful for us MIDI-only types. Btw, my Casio CZ101 transmits velocity only at a value of 64, so a filter could be useful for balancing this keyboard with other MIDI instruments. It has no mod wheel or MIDI volume controll (cc 7), but a filter could remap the output from the CZ pitch bend wheel. Old stuff, really, common on old MS-DOS and Atari MIDI sequencers.
