Hey Mark, I don't think it's any accident that people who like distortion guitars also like them loud. So I think there's more to it that "I'm louder than you." But yes, there certainly seems to be some of what say there, unfortunately. It forces some of us to crunch our stuff more than we want to. Maybe we should "Just say 'No'?" :-)
