I'm not sure if folk are familiar with this: http://wam.inrialpes.fr/software/limsee2/index.php?goto=Home I'm seeing it as potentially important to linux audio/video/multimedia though... {Real has a similar editor... there's links on the above page.} I ran across this the other night as well... I'm not sure if folk are aware of it... It's free and one of the better web editors I've seen: http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/index.jsp ...Once they get everything going it looks as though it's going to be pretty good competition for Dreamweaver, GoLive, etc. I'm trying to get some integration going with Eclipse: http://www.eclipse.org/ {for which I found a Scheme interface http://www.scs.carleton.ca/%7Edeugo/projects/eclipse/ {and an XML tie-in: http://www196.pair.com/lisovsky/xml/index.html } Which allows me to tie snd, cm, cmt, etc, etc {probably lisp {and, in turn, smalltalk {squeak extensions {though I'm sure there must be a more direct way.}} as well...} into things...} {Beast has an interface to scheme now as well.} and... have already managed to get some interaction going with Sun's Java beans ide... {Which was really pretty easy...} With jmax and kdenlive {and piave http://modesto.sourceforge.net/piave/ } as well as rezound, etc, etc... I figure I have a fairly complete, high level, multimedia authoring environment going. {Just in case you like the idea} ---------------------------------- E-Mail: RickTaylor@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: 22-Jun-2004 Time: 23:50:25 This message was sent by XFMail ----------------------------------
