Looks like a great box for > an Ardour user The last I heard, Thomas Charbonnel was going to do the linux driver for the Fireface, and will be supplied with a unit by RME (possibly). Depending on how standards-based RME used the firewire interface, his work might be more generally usable for other firewire hardware. jlc
