I guess, as with most things Linux, you > can roll it yourself or help get it added. Take a look at Alsa Modular Synth too...I tested most of the available apps out when I started doing this. Ecamegapedal was a bit glitchy at least on my box. (A couple or 3 releases ago) Alsa Modular synth had the midi support you need built right in and the "parameter" settings are awesome for filling the midi gaps. ( I had limited controller options and ended up using Prog Ch. for toggling fx.
