I wouldn't recommend using a non-mandrake kernel on a mandrake system... we have lots of necessary patches in there. Was there a problem with the multimedia kernel from 9.2? Auston, I only assumed the packaged mandrake MM kernel was Andrew Morten's...I installed the MDK multimedia RPM kernel from Thac's RPM's for 9.2. It installed fine and boots from Lilo...as to if there's anything wrong with it...I don't know. How can I tell if it is fuctioning properly with scheduling and such? R~
