I have a knoppix installation that includes rosegarden2 and OSS drivers. The midiports are not recognized upon bootup. How can I configure/check the midi port configuration for the OSS drivers? Yes I know that rosegarden4 blows away rosegarden2, and ALSA is the way to go, but since knoppix includes rosegarden2 and OSS, I think it would be easier for me to get this working than switch to ALSA and new software. I have tried several midi interfaces/soundcards which I know are supposed to work (ISA, PCI, and USB) Any advice would be much appreciated! __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
