Hmm, only thing I could think of is on Android, Poet Assistant,

Second that.

I also often use a messenger apps on my phone (like e.g. Signal) to send notes and quick ideas to myself, so I don't forget them. For example cool expressions I found or one-lines I came up with, song titles etc.

On the Linux side, Ghostwriter is a nice, distraction free Markdown editor.

But most resources I would use for lyrics writing aren't really platform-specific software but online tools. Here's a totally random selection of sites I used:

Thesaurus, rhyming etc.:

* https://www.thesaurus.com
* https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english-thesaurus/
* https://www.openthesaurus.de/
* https://rhymer.com
* https://www.rhymezone.com
* http://www.b-rhymes.com/

Random and AI generators:

* https://perchance.org

Creative writing:

* https://www.languageisavirus.com/cutupmachine.php
* https://objectwriting.com/ | https://www.patpattison.com/

Collaborative tools:

* https://composing.studio/
* https://hedgedoc.org/

ABC notation:

* https://editor.drawthedots.com/
