Thanks a lot, Brandon, this does help and might be quite to the point.
Best wishes,
Jeanette

Hey Jeanette,
Have you checked out openpose? I think it is only a Linux thing, but I
used it at work and it tracks full body with a standard camera.
Also, another thing that your friend might look into is using the
Microsoft Kinect. The Kinect has tracking built in that you can access
with software. Both the Kinect and Kinect 2 have these kinds of
features. You have to get an adapter to plug it into a standard usb
port. I've played with this a tiny bit for a class I took, but I had
friends who got it to work pretty well for the body.
These two would be for body tracking, not necessarily face tracking.
I hope some of this helps,

Hey hey,
I am sorry if this seems very off-topic. But I thought that there
might be performers here who could be experienced with this.
A friend of mine is looking for a simple way to track herself with a
camera for lessons. I have seen that there are gadgets which can
recognise a face and so track a person with a camera. Having no
experience with that, at all, myself, I thought it best to find
knowledgeable advice.
I think she will use a mac environment. I don't know how many things -
you might know about - are cross platform or stand alone, though a
Raspberry Pi in support of her work could be quite feasible.
Best wishes,
Jeanette
