adjustable in width.

I'd like to use them to process sounds in the mixing stage. Pass a bass
or other sound through it. Think of modular/semi-modular filterbanks
like the Moog System-55 one. Does that make sense?

I have no idea about Linux software for filterbanks. Beyond my day job, I use Linux mostly for the video scripting of my performances on YouTube.
Anyways, I am interested in Formant synthesis of vowel sounds created by natural voices. That ideally requires 3 or more bandpass filters in parallel i.e. filterbank like the Analogue Solutions rs360.
My Moog One has two State Variable Filter modes A and B that can be in parallel and have bandpass. Only two bandpass filters is not ideal but it's a start. The unit also has vocoder and resonator effects. I have external API 565 filters for the rest.
