Strange, I tried that before and it didn't seem to work - I thought possibly 
it didn't store the hardware routing settings and so on, so just ignored the 
problem.

Anyway... it seems to be working now and I just hadn't noticed yet, so 
presumably it's been working for a while!  :-D
