This is fantastic, thanks for sharing it!
Nama is also very interesting-sounding, I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
How did you approach the effects processing? I like the sound of the synthetic space very much, and how it blends with other synth-type sounds (maybe actually artifacts of the processing) that emerge.
Best,

Hey hey,I just released this:http://juliencoder.de/nama/hatched_from_an_empty_shell.flachttp://juliencoder.de/nama/hatched_from_an_empty_shell.mp3http://juliencoder.de/nama/hatched_from_an_empty_shell.oggWhat happens to abandonned spaces and which atmosphere do they convey? It'smore an impression than a strict composition. It's binaural and was done inCsound, except for sample cutting, which was done in Nama. The piece is basedon field recordings, physically modelled effects and synthesized sounds. The main sample is me walking down the stairs in the highest tower at ouruniversity (8 1/2 storeys). I always wanted to do something with this. Atleast one of the ups and down has now made it. :)Many thanks to Frank Neumann for the heaviest door alive, recorded at thegroundfloor of Karlsruhe ZKM stairwell (next to the auditorium, elevator andtoilets, if there is more than one).I hope you enjoy it and let me know. :)Best wishes,Jeanette--* Website: http://juliencoder.de - for summer is a state of sound* SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/jeanette_c* Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMS4rfGrTwz8W7jhC1Jnv7g* GitHub: https://github.com/jeanette-c* Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeanette_c_sIt's not complicatedWe just syncopatedWe can read each others' minds <3(Britney Spears)_______________________________________________Linux-audio-user mailing listLinux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxhttps://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
