In what way is the audio quality of the recorded audio signal less good
than expected?
Sounds distorted and scratchy. It is not peak clipping or anything like that.
BTW, I just connected a mic to a small mixer and connected that to a Behringer UCA202 USB interface ... and that works just fine.
