I used to have one of these as well -- it's a cheap way of getting the
same Fatar keybed that a lot of more expensive keyboards (e.g. some of
the contemporary Nord Stage models) used. I found it very playable,
although it's definitely not a real piano.

I ended up replacing it with a fairly decent Yamaha digital piano that
came up very cheaply at my local auction house. This might be worth
considering as an option, particularly if you don't need portability --
a 15-year-old digital piano builtin sounds won't be as good as a modern
software synth, but if you just want to use it as a MIDI controller then
that's not a problem...
