No, I have only one card I want to use with the laptop. The laptop has
standard Intel HDA audio built in but I only use that when I want to
play something back at office but forgot to bring the USB card.

I'm leery of trying to keep multiple USB soundcards synced. So I'd prefer to replace the existing card with one that has more channels to start with. I've seen some mentioned on the list that would easily be on my "drool!" list when the budget expands. :)
