To add informations : 


The 624 is a stripped down - in size/inputs - version of the 1248, using
the same DAC.
Easier to put in a bag to go on set, than the 19" rack size of the
1248. 


So, it's the same for the 624, it take 2 or more time to be started by
jackd, either on command line, or with qjackctl.
