Hi, you at least could build qtractor from source, but finding out what's going wrong might be more useful. Maybe there is some info what's going wrong in ~/.xsession-errors , if not, you could run qtractor from command line, to see if you get useful error messages. There seems to be no package qtractor-dbg available for buster [1], so if you should build qtractor, consider to build with debug symbols. If you don't know how to build qtractor, you might get help here or at https://sourceforge.net/projects/qtractor/lists/qtractor-devel . However, first try to troubleshoot by taking a look at ~/.xsession-errors or much better, by opening a terminal and running it from command line. Just in case you shouldn't run an English environment, launch qtractor like this LANG=C qtractor to get English output, you could post to the mailing list. Regards, Ralf [1] https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=buster&keywords=qtractor-dbg Actually it only seems to be available for wheezy: https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=wheezy&keywords=qtractor-dbg _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
