Since I prefer PCI and PCIe in regards to MIDI jitter, IIRC I only used it to dump MIDI banks. I can't remember any issues. Maybe I'm mistaken. There's no time to do many tests, but I at least could send the internal bank of my DX7 and try to receive it with simplesysexxer ... There's a pitfall, a switch to select between USB and MIDI THRU. The interface doesn't work if USB is selected, but it works when MIDI THRU is selected, with simplesysexxer to receive a DX7 sound bank, as well as with qtractor to receive note on and off events. Ok, now the other way around. Hm, I could select USB or MIDI THRU, the interfaces LED shows output, but the DX7 doesn't receive note on and off events, so I didn't try to send sysex. Perhaps I'm mistaken, the USB interface seems to be the one without enough power for my MIDI thru box, but perhaps also for some synth, too, or its simply broken. At the moment sending doesn't work at all. _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
