This is huge news and the beginning of something very needed in the Linux community, I will check it out tomorrow! However, I have some toughs about it when looking at the key map: You should really have dimensions (or zones as many also calls it) that can be used on any wanted item, for example the the HH. That means the same note for hitting the edge of the HH and use a controller, such as modulation wheel, expression pedal or the HH pedal in a MIDI drumset for controlling the HH openess. The lack of things like this is also one of the main issues that make DrumGizmo not quite there yet when it comes to professional usage, but I notice they have it on the todo list. You will probably see what I mean and why when looking at the last page of the Natural Drum Kit's manual: http://naturaldrum.com/docs/NDKManual.pdf I will come back tomorrow after checking it and have some more comments and check how the HH is muted (should only be done by the pedal) and so on. I'm sure that it will be very useful for many projects as it is now already.
