Oops, no he might not confirm the same issue. There might be two
unrelated issues. However, "eth0" isn't a snd device, it might suffer
from some mismatch issue, too, or it might be a timing issue or
something else.

Please post the output of

  cat /proc/asound/cards

[rocketmouse@archlinux ~]$ cat /proc/asound/cards
