PS:

Sure, they could emulate the kind of EQs that were used, but nobody
needs exactly the same EQ, Fons' EQ or what ever else good EQ does
what's needed. What makes analog consoles from different vendors that
good, is the electronic, the ergonomics, ..., the bundle as a whole.
Apart from a good EQ, e.g. Fons' EQ, you need a good sound card and a
good remote mixer, with good DAW integration, not some obscure
emulation.
