You seem to be mixing things here. To go viral on what basis ? Because this is the Linux Audio Users mailing list only ? So that anything done with linux is all right ? As some kind of what statement ? When I listen to something, I really am not looking to what synth was used, which type and brand of guitar strings, which OS, or are the tubes in the compressor really genuine 12AX7 or what. Listening is without boundaries. For example, when I listen to uKanDanZ that I discovered a couple of days ago, I did not search for what they use, and I will not rebuke them if they use Windows, Pro Tools and Waves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjUDozEinPg > It's pretty easy to get involved. AFAIC, I do not listen much to music structured in repetitive songs, but do from time to time and it has to be original. It is not because I use Linux that I will say that everything made with Linux is good. This is absurd. And likewise, I appreciate people liking the sounds I make and would not like an army of sheep that twits it around so that eventually my wallet can get bigger. Music is so much more than that. _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
