Compared with Zyn 2.4.0 (when the fork was made by Cal), visible changes are:

Inproved Jack support.
State save and load.
Unified MIDI accessible root, bank & instrument structure.
Extensive NRPN support.
Improved Alsa audio support.
More accurate VU metering.
Enabled independent part audio outputs.
LV2 support.
Multiple instances.
Extended part structure.
Recent load/save history.
Extended (and improved) settings menus.
Command line access (not instrument editors yet).
Vector control.
Improved slider and knob controls and 'home'.
MIDI part channel switching.

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
