The use of the sounds integrates perfectly to the style and do not come across as a limitation. Eg. for the cymbals and high hats for instance. The compositions are well-thought and supported by the appropriate orchestration, and a proper balance (although tere might be one or two piece is which IMHO a remix could be in order like the lead synth on "Ambryon frappé" which could be a tad less in the forefront). The style is broody, dark, perhaps somewhat melancholic. Film score-like in many times, evocative of mysterious ambiances. After all, this is based on H.P. Lovecraft. "Vincent Is The Price" - ah. There's also a U.K. band called Jospeh Curwen on bandcamp. Cheers. _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/listinfo/linux-audio-user
