Sounds OK, but once a2j starts it appears on the MIDI page, but there is still nothing for my
seq to connect to on the ALSA page.?

Weird - it is working, even then QJackCtl sows no connection from my sequencer!

OK, That resolves that problem. Back to the grindstone to find the next one....
